A mainstay of the Church’s Liturgical life is the blessing of objects, for the betterment and sanctification of us all. On the feast of Holy Transfiguration, it is customary to bless fruit - especially grapes - in order to signify the renewal of all Creation by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Please consider attending Liturgy on August 6th @ 9:30am, bringing fruit with you so that it may be blessed at the end of the service. There will be fruit blessed and available specifically to share with each other down in the Parish Hall.
May we all be first fruits of God’s Creation!
